Jacob Hardt is an Interventionist and Recovery Coach dedicated to supporting those suffering from addiction and substance abuse. As an Interventionist, Certified Peer Recovery Advocate, and member of the 12-step community, he has worked in group and individual settings for community programs, recovery centers, and private clients.
Jacob came from an abusive family with a long history of alcoholism and violence. Leaving home at 14, he was exposed to the pain and suffering that accompany drug and alcohol abuse. His personal experiences with trauma and addiction give him a unique perspective on the hardships facing those learning a new design for living. His journey to recovery would not have been possible without the love and guidance provided by the many amazing people who helped him along the way. He continues to use those lessons in his recovery and sober living approach.
Every client is unique, and Jacob strives to find the best program, treatment center, or mental health professionals to meet that individual’s needs and circumstances. Community support is another essential component of maintaining a sober lifestyle. Jacob preserves connections throughout the recovery community and helps guide clients in developing relationships to establish their support network of friends and mentors.
