Karen Reass is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, an Advanced Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist, a Certified Clinical Interventionist, and a Certified Structured Family Recovery Counselor.
Her passion is educating and inspiring all those impacted by addiction as she believes in the power of families and communities healing together.
With three decades of experience in clinical care, teaching and training, and studying with the finest thought leaders in the field, Karen blends her wealth of personal recovery and professional experience to warmly engage clients with wisdom, clarity, and humor.
Trained in Love First, CRAFT and ARISE models of intervention, and Structured Family Recovery, she provides clear guidance to navigate the recovery process for the families she works with. She presents keen strategies and options for the restoration of integrity.
Working with Karen will help families see the interconnectedness of the journey toward wellness, as she illuminates the path that is accessible to anyone that wants to experience and support the recovery process.
Karen consults, coaches, and trains nationally and internationally. She has taught college-level classes and was the director of training for students in NY to become Certified in Substance Use Counseling. Karen has developed a six-week Addiction and Recovery education series which she offers virtually, free of charge, weekly to the families she serves and the wider community.
