About Us
Intervention.com is about More Good – Less Bad for all
Intervention.com is that nation’s leading innovative family resource center for help re-launched in 2016 continuing the work of founder Vaughn Howland, began in 1996. Howland, a respected interventionist, passed away after a career of help and laughter, and mentoring many in the field. Vaughn entrusted this on-line hub to Brad, and we continue the work to honor and build on what he started.
Intervention.com is proud to introduce the ethics standard to the industry: Fair Care Promise (more info below). We believe every family deserves a fair shake at receiving care that is ethical, legal and has real help as the focus. At Intervention.com you will find useful resources for families facing addiction, period. We won’t ever sell our calls, or engage in unethical practices in violation of Fair Care Promise standards.
Our mission is to help families work together to accomplish more than they would have on their own. At our core, we believe in More Good – Less Bad for all, both personally and professionally.
Brad, our founder, began his own recovery journey in 2003 from drugs, bulimia, nicotine + alcohol. What seemed an impossible challenge proved how even the most challenging cases might not just recover, but thrive from a starting point of hopelessness and brokenness.
He has managed over one-thousand interventions, visited hundreds of treatment facilities across the country, presented before Parliament in the UK, served on the board of the Association of Intervention Specialists, and collaborated with the most knowledgeable and effective specialists in the field of recovery treatment and worked at the state level to introduce treatment options to communities.
The most effective intervention and referral services in the country. Over the last decade, our Intervention Specialists have helped thousands of families put the pieces back together; we can help your family too.
